Why did you choose to join WISE?
Joining the WISE program as a Research Coordinator was a highly attractive opportunity for me. With a strong background in research and project management, I aim to be a valuable asset to the WISE program by contributing to the important work that sustains and advances the program.
You are a research coordinator at WISE. What does your role imply?
As a research coordinator, my responsibilities include a wide range of tasks. These include providing operational management support, drafting and implementing calls for research projects/positions, coordinating events, and collaborating with individuals across research, industry, society, and university administration. However, my primary focus is on supporting the Research School and its community of PhD students and postdocs, especially in relation to courses and the WISE Summer School.
What would you say is the best versus the most challenging part of your job?
Being part of the incredible team at the WISE program office is truly fantastic! It’s equally rewarding to engage with researchers in a new field for me and to be part of Sweden’s largest research initiative in material science. However, the most challenging aspect lies in grasping the full scope of this very complex program and community.
