WISE to launch WISE industry networking event
With the intention to make this an annual event we now introduce the meeting place for Swedish industry and the WISE community.

High interest in the WISE Industrial PhD & Postdoc project call
The first call for WISE Industrial PhD student and Postdoc projects is now closed. WISE received in total 49 applications from a broad spectrum of companies, ranging from start-ups to some of the largest industries in Sweden.
Out of 49 submitted applications, 23 were proposing PhD student projects and 26 targeted Postdoc projects. WISE aims to fund up to 12 PhD student projects and up to 12 Postdoc projects. Decisions, made by the WISE Board, will be based on input from a peer-review process.
-We are very happy with this high number of applications in this first WISE industry project call, especially since the industry postdoctor projects is a new component in the Swedish research landscape. There is a very good mixture of applications from large industries as well as from small and medium size companies, applications that also match our different thematic areas in a nice manner, says Magnus Berggren, director of WISE.
