The WISE Dialogue
The first-ever internal WISE conference is held in Stockholm at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (KVA) on 22-23 March 2023 and will target future energy systems, circularity, and sustainability policy.
The WISE Dialogue will include the WISE community and representatives from industry and society and will serve as a kick-off for future conversations covering sustainability through material science.
On the agenda are among others, talks by Mats W Lundberg, Head of sustainability at Sandvik, Lars Hultman, President of Advisory committee WISE and Professor at Linköping University, Professor Carl Folke, Swedish ecologist and economist, director of the Beijer Institute, and founder and chairman of the board of the Stockholm Resilience Center at Stockholm University and Maria Åstrand, Vice President Cathode Materials, Northvolt.

It will be an excellent opportunity for important discussions about how material science, through dedicated efforts, can deliver fantastic technology and solutions, accelerating the transition towards a sustainable world, says Professor Magnus Berggren, WISE Program Director.
