On 24-26 October, Olle Eriksson, WISE Co-director, will speak at a conference organized by the Swedish Consortium for Artificial Photosynthesis at Uppsala University.
The conference will focus on research and innovation towards the sustainable production, use, and implementation of fossil-free fuels and base chemicals, by direct hydrogen production and CO2 valorization from renewable energy and abundant molecules (CO2, water, nitrogen).
-I look forward to participating at the conference. This a perfect arena to share information about WISE, the biggest research initiative around sustainable materials in Sweden today, among the academic community, companies, policymakers, and other stakeholders, says Olle Eriksson.

Peter got his PhD degree in applied physics from Linköping university in the 90’s. After getting his degree he worked for 28 years in industry and at research institutes, mainly with thin film processes for electronic devices.

In a scientific breakthrough, researchers have successfully produced a sheet of gold that is only one atomic layer thick: goldene. The discovery stems from a collaborative effort from Linköping University, including Professor Lars Hultman and Professor Johanna Rosén, both WISE researchers. Their findings are published in the journal Nature Synthesis.
