Research question

In this project, we intend to develop a composite material from agricultural side-streams. Noteworthy, is that the material will utilize all three components of the lignocellulose. Furthermore, that repair and recycling will be taken into account already in the design phase of the project. We will ascertain environmental sustainability by first a prospective life cycle assessment and finally a full study.

Sustainability aspects

Climate change, land use, resource use (fossil and mineral), water scarcity, food production, innovation, toxicity.
