Research question
I work in the area of thin film nanomaterials science and interface engineering to access novel properties for electronics and energy applications.
Current interests include scalable synthesis of microstructure-tailored thin film nanomaterials and molecularly-modified inorganic interfaces, revealing emergent phenomena and properties, and developing an atomistic understanding of processing-structure-chemistry-property relationships.
Sustainability aspects
Scalable environmentally-friendly inorganic synthesis, unobtrusive tailoring of processes and properties using nanomolecular layers and dopants with end applications in waste-heat harvesting, and next generation nanoelectronics.
