WISE Welcome Meeting
The WISE Welcome Meeting is an annual event that serves as an introduction for new members, with a particular focus on PhD students and postdoctoral researchers. Research School participants are expected to attend one of these meetings, ideally early in their time within the program.
The meeting provides an overview of what WISE has to offer, including its organization, overarching goals, and the opportunities available for engagement and collaboration.
The program includes inspiring lectures and introductions to WISE’s research school activities, such as courses, summer schools, and study trips, among others. The event is also an opportunity to meet fellow new members, as well as experienced researchers and industry partners involved in the program.
The overall aim is to create an open and welcoming environment that helps new participants feel part of the WISE community and encourages active involvement in advancing a sustainable future.
