Research question

In this project, interactions between graphene and polymer matrix will be investigated. Also, how graphene and polymer characteristics affect e.g., hydrogen permeability of the composites. The objective is to enable increased performance of composites for hydrogen storage. Hence, the area of research will be focused on characterization of properties, but also connecting properties with structure and performance.

Sustainability aspects

The evolving hydrogen economy calls for development of materials for hydrogen storage. Materials with low permeability towards hydrogen gas are important for environmental, economical as well as safety reasons.
