Welcome to WISE Networking Day 2025

With the intention to make this an annual event we now introduce the meeting place for Swedish industry, society and the WISE community.
Join us to explore successful collaboration between industry, academia and societal actors. WISE Networking Day is the meeting place to boost future collaboration, careers and business, targeting materials science and technology for sustainability. This conference will explore emerging trends and needs regarding sustainable materials in Sweden. Attendees will also gain practical insights into fostering synergistic interactions and collaborations between academia and industry. The event is open to WISE PhD students and Postdocs and PI’s and Swedish industry and society.
Topics and questions will be discussed and highlighted, such as:
- How do we successfully accelerate uptake of research results in Swedish companies and society?
- How to further strengthen academia-industry collaboration?
- The transition to a sustainable society requires new skills, how should we take advantage of the opportunities created by WISE for talent and recruitment?
Registration to WISE Networking Day
In the registration form for industry/society, you can select how you wish to participate – either as an exhibitor with a booth or as an attendee only. We encourage you to register early, especially if you’re interested in securing a booth, as the number of places is limited. Participating industry are invited to present their organization with a roll-up or demo table.

Practical information
Food and beverages
When check-in opens at 9:15 AM, coffee and sandwiches will be served. A standing networking lunch will follow, along with an afternoon coffee break. The conference will conclude with a two-course dinner at the Bistro in Louis De Geer. If you wish to attend the dinner, please indicate this during your conference registration. Also, kindly inform us if you have any allergies or require special dietary accommodations.
The dinner will be served with non-alcoholic beverages. Should you prefer other drinks, these will be available for purchase at the bar at your own expense.
