Research School: WISE Study Trip to Northern Sweden (17-19 February), 2025.

Join us for an exciting 3-day study trip to Northern Sweden, where we’ll visit leading companies such as Talga, LTU Labs, and Stegra (formerly H2 Green Steel), among others. This trip is open to all WISE PhD students and postdocs. The trip will also feature social activities, such as ice-skating in the center of Luleå, among others.
Registration
Personal invitations will be sent to all Research School participants. Registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, with a waiting list available once all seats are filled. Please ensure you have obtained approval from your PI before registering.
Program Including Bus Pick-Up Times and Locations
⏳ Important: Please be on time for all bus departures. The bus will not wait for late participants. If you miss the bus, it is your own responsibility to arrange and pay for transportation to the next location.

14:00-16:00 – Visit to Stegra in Boden
16:00 – Bus pick-up at Stegra, return to Clarion Hotel Sense
18:30 – Dinner at Craft n’ Draft

All participants are responsible for booking their own travel to and from Luleå, as well as their hotel accommodations.
Note: You will return to Luleå late on Wednesday, so you may want to consider traveling back home on Thursday the 20th of February.

We recommend Clarion Hotel Sense in Luleå as accommodation for participants attending our upcoming WISE event. The hotel will serve as the meeting and starting point for the journey.
