First WISE Industrial PhD & Postdoc projects approved
49 applications were submitted in the first industrial PhD and Postdoc call from which 28 projects (14 PhD & 14 Postdoc) have been granted funding.

Welcoming PhD students & Postdocs 2023
The WISE research program is advancing rapidly. Recruitment initiatives for different positions are taking place and the research projects at our partner universities will be up and running shortly.
On 28–30 August it is time to welcome our new PhD students and Postdocs at the internal event, WISE Welcome Meeting.
The WISE Welcome Meeting is a yearly event and platform for the WISE community. The overall purpose of the WISE Welcome Meeting is to introduce all our newcomers to what WISE is and how WISE is organized, and to provide an opportunity to network and learn about each other’s projects.
-We are looking forward to welcome around 100 PhD students and Postdocs to the WISE community and to the WISE Welcome Meeting in August. The graduate school ultimately aims to provide important skills needed to achieve excellence in the interdisciplinary area of materials science for sustainability, says Anna Delin, Director of the WISE Graduate School.
-As a new student within the WISE community you will find that you have unique opportunities to network with both academia and industry, for example through meeting research groups and study trips, continues Anna.
