SUMMARY:WISE Summer School - Chalmers University of Technology
DESCRIPTION:WISE is proud to announce the first Summer School on Additive Manufacturing supported by the WISE Graduate School (GS). The school is organized by the WISE Additive Research and Technology Platform (RTP) at Chalmers University of Technology. \nAdditive manufacturing (AM) is a manufacturing technology\, where a three-dimensional object is grown by adding layer after layer of melted or partially melted material. The aim of the school is to establish a basic understanding regarding AM\, both as a method for novel material development and as an industrial technology for prototyping and manufacturing of advanced components across diverse sectors. The course covers an overview of seven additive manufacturing technology groups as well as a general overview of the AM manufacturing chain. \nWhen: June 25-26\nWhere:Chalmers University of Technology (Virtual Development Laboratory\, Campus Johanneberg) \nAbout Accommodation \n  \nFor more detailed information about Summer School 2024\, please look here.
